This results in solutions which are more suitable for the weighing system being installed, than for the business case at hand. Data models change, Logistics around a weighbridge change, Vehicle flow changes, Management changes, ERP-systems change and a lot more processes change in a business today. This requires an IT approach that can adapt as quickly as the environment changes. Not only the capability to adapt is required, but also the cost of implementation must be acceptable. Unfortunately not all products that support a logistic process are capable of these changes. Most often they are not open enough to be integrated into a process and are expensive to maintain. Special modules are available which are designed for specific environments, like retail, crane loading and GPS tracking.

Besides the ability to quickly design and build “Bespoke” applications, UniWin also allows the developer to build applications without the knowledge of any programming language. This makes UniWin a very powerful tool which can be implemented by anyone, from mechanical engineer to qualified programmer.
