It was the summer of 2009, when CHA founder and creative mind Alisha Staats decided it was time to live her dream: start her own shoe and accessories label. Designed under Ibiza's soaking sun and inspired by the bohemian lifestyle the first collection was born - quickly capturing free spirits who shared Alisha's love for fashion, art, nature and design. The beginning of our solid fanbase.

The first CHA collection featured boots and bags made of the finest leather with a cozy merino wool lining. Timeless designs, from which some are still in the collection today - known as ‘The Classics’ – including bold new colors and patterns.

Over time, CHA has grown into a true lifestyle brand offering a wide range of footwear, bags and accessories, with the recent addition of luxuriously soft knitwear and faux fur outerwear. We realized that it was time for CHA to shed the Ibiza image and look into the deepest of our soul for what CHA really stands for, raw and pure.

This took us back to Alisha’s African roots. Inspired by the earth, history and tribal art, we took a more ethnic-contemporary approach on design that tells a story of cultural pride, empowerment and freedom. Cha today represents the movement of life, it's raw and high-end at the same time. Where luxurious meets comfort. A brand that inspires.
