Malabata begon als een vrije tijdsbesteding voor een groepje vrienden. Het werd een volwaardige Futsalvereniging waarvan het eerste team op het hoogste niveau meedoet aan de Futsal KNVB- competitie. Malabata heeft sinds de oprichting in 1996 een stormachtige ontwikkeling doorgemaakt. De vereniging kenmerkt zich door ongekende sportieve prestaties beginnend eind jaren negentig en zich doorzettend in het heden. En wellicht in de toekomst in de Topdivisie.
