Since its establishment in 1991, Beijer Automotive has become a leading player in the rapidly growing national and international after-market. The company is now also active in the OEM market. Origins and organisation
Beijer Automotive started installing trip registration systems in 1991 and acquired considerable expertise in tapping signals in vehicles over the years. This led to the publication of the In-car instruction book in 1995, the predecessor of the online In-car instruction database. Within half a year after its introduction, some 70 installers and workshops in the Netherlands and Belgium were already using the In-car instruction book, including several leading companies in this market.
At present, a few thousand installers and workshops, lease companies, garages, dealers and government institutions in the Netherlands and abroad have a subscription to the In-car instructions and use the telephone helpdesk. Thanks to this daily contact, the personnel of Beijer Automotive are well acquainted with real-life cases. They are therefore immediately aware of any new problems and malfunctions, and can provide solutions to these quickly.
